The gearbox fails in a class tractor too it's more the fact there is of less the tractors about.
It's a bearing that fails in the gearbox.have you seen one in pieces. I don't believe software causes it to fail
No i havnt seen a D6 box apart in the flesh but seen them parts that fail & cost way more than £3.5k to replace
ive seen the invoices from folks who have been there.
fully repaired D6 boxes that still fail 500hrs later isnt a laughing matter neither by main dealers
i hope it doesn't happen too yourself.
It might be partly down to how there driven i cant comment but its always the bigger chassis ones that give the trouble & that's a fact
