Front loaders..... haha
Front links have so many uses now & they should just be standard like Air con was in the mid nineties
Both have their strenghts. We won't buy a tractor that doesn't have a frontloader as it's needed for various tasks which you can't use front links for. But we might be getting front links retro fitted to Case. The ones that pivot when you turn the steering wheel.

Ive not a single use for a tractor loader, i have a merlo 7m telehandler for all them jobs & its twice as good as any tractor loader for my purposes.
Front links tho essential.

We can't justify a telehandler. It can't do real fieldwork, we've automatic hydraulic scrapers, we've an excavator for muck pit and the few odd pallets that we need to move will be moved with a tractor.

were all diff, diff farming ideas
Id be lost without a telehandler here
1500t of grain on a good season
150/200t of fert all in 600kg bags handled a few times
all the half ton bags of seed
so many other jobs lots of pallet work moving stuff about.
1000t + of cattle muck, loading & reloading, 250/300t of henmuck loading last year & similar for 2019
2.8t 7m machine but id like a 4t same reach in future. 14yr old & counting just over 4000hrs owner/driver from day1

Can hardly steer the 6480 if ya move the front press when its had the tines on & it weighed 1.75ton
unless you had similar weight on the rear, none of them issues with the merlo
On front links i meant.... heck on front loader it would be way further forward
