Not many 3 year old auto guide ready ones about

u wonder why not? ive got a 7.5yr old school 7499 thats got it !!!
Its never been cheaper to have GPS auto guidance & i'll bet it gets cheaper yet
ive turned down several fitting the req tractors because they aint got it.

Will be standard soon or at least on the exclusive spec. Ironically the 6499 we had on hire 2 years ago was but never seen a smaller tractor of that age with it

Actually not sure it's guidance ready but presume so as it's exclusive spec

Yeh probably cheaper then ticking box on new one , but as with a lot of extras 2nd hand the guidance ready tractor probably no more expensive then one that hasn't got it

you cant just bolt on a Screen in the cab & Antenna on the roof unless the tractor is guidance ready..
& fitting aftermarket steering wheels is a no go & they look so naff.
It is possible to retro fit the factory things but at your expense

My 7499 has that Socket & mounting bracket on the roof, we used the bracket but the factory socket up there is of no use
just ran all new cables from roof under panels, quite easy when you see it all done.
Trimble GFX-750 screen in cab & the whole lot is plugged into the Tractors Can-Bus network around the fusebox.

Front links have so many uses now & they should just be standard like Air con was in the mid nineties

Not look as good unless you want to change your steering wheel... and thats deffo not happening

I'm not sure they are as accurate either more room for error between controllers and steering rams

Finding a MF 7718 second hand one of that spec you are looking for will be very hard as at that spec it was the same money or more than a fendt 718 was a few years ago

Yes but v basic system & not got the function of the later add on screens
