Aye but having put a parlour that can supposedly milk 300 in an hour, two years before the robots going in? Eh?

Maybe I'm jealous, having just stepped out of an ancient one held together by rust and baler twine.......

peter joules is the dealer I think

I'm trying to miss out the middleman:) I only want to buy the important bits (the slides) .

I haven't spoken to a dealer since I bought a few odds for my parlour 3 years ago, only started inquiries about pulsators last week when one of mine gave up (it was dust blocking it up):banghead:

I haven't got them yet! Trying to buy direct from them.:)
Trevor Richards at Shropshire Dairy Supplies is currently quoting on a Read parlour for us. Figures will be on the table next week.
Visited NZ in January and saw a number of Read Parlours. Very simple, robust and quiet.

Surely someone must have milked 10000l+ cows with them?

The way I see it you just alter the speed to alter ratio.

1st pulsators I ever rigged up used pulse relays, when I 1st got the parlour tested he said it had the best readings he'd seen, was a very simple system but noisy.:banghead:

It wouldn't be a risk I'd take

Z don't give them your hard earned money. Make room for more points. Replace only the parts on your old parlour that give trouble, maybe feeders to get back reliability that you once had. Your old claws are cheap to replace, liners half the price of some others. Servicing is cheap, the list goes on. Having said all that every man knows his own business best.
