I've got the Moto G8 Power Lite. It's about 14months old.
This is my 3rd Moto. Had a g3, then g5. Switched to Huawei which I binned after 4-5 months, was so awful. Back onto Moto. Each Moto I've changed at 2yr old and they're still pretty fresh and would last on more.

Battery lasts 2 full days with me - and I'm guilty of being on it far too much scrolling on here, YouTube, Insta/Facebook, eBay...
Very good camera, no issues with dust (other than the standard lint build up in the charger socket). Got a rubber case and screen protector when I bought it and it's still like new

No experience of the newest G, but I can't recommend Moto highly enough

Make sure you get one with plenty of memory. The operating system takes a fair bit out of it. The moto g5 I had was 32 GB and ran out of memory .Moto g30 is 128gb
Agree 64GB is almost the minimum now.

Said before here, my son in the army tends to be very hard on his phones, but he has kept his latest Moto G8 safe in one of the HD cheap cases and a gorilla glass screen protector for nearly a year. This is proven combo in my opinion if he hasn't managed to kill it... :)

I parked my still in good condition iPhone6 earlier this year as I inherited an almost new iPhone SE. Can't fault it, does everything the flash ones do, good battery life etc.
For the first time ever, I just bought a half arsed decent case with room for drivers licence, cards etc as I tend to remember my phone but forget my wallet.
I'm always amazed at how many phones some people get through.
Too much money or just bad at looking after their toys?

Best phone I've had is the one I have now. Duel SIM, waterproof/dustproof, battery lasts about 4days, cost about £150 + vat. It's a CAT s42 phone, On pay as you go Sims. Which cost less than £30 year to run each.
Broke 2 Samsung phones last year, never again, total junk. Thank goodness for house insurance.
