New pig building

We decided in November to put some more pig places in. We decided to use a firm from Northern Ireland called Finrone for the sheds. Thought I’d try and stick up some pictures of the project if anyone was interested.We had the footings and pillars in at the begging in of jan and the buildings arrived on the 16th of jan. Finrone had them all fitted out ready for pigs in by 29th jan.

Yes, they have a glass fibre lined tank built in.

What's thst costing per pig place ??

At the moment I’m not sure of the final cost. I know it’s more than we initially thought as the surrounding ground work has been more involved than expected. Planning to work it out next month once we are done.

Ok , I had price from them year back and it was 220 per space

It will be around the 230 mark I think by the time I get all the slurry pipes finished and pathways in. If I add another to it it will be a bit less as the initial work is already done.
