TBF dorsets are easy to catch.....the sound of roller doors on my grain store being opened brings my dorset crosses home from 3 fields away

American Dorlumbia I'm guessing? Though the breeders like to call them "Modern Dorsets". Love to see them run the dna. You can still find real polled Dorsets but you may have to look for them, sometimes referred to as "short eared Dorsets". Most of the commercial Dorset flocks I know of in this area have gone to Horned Dorsets.

I kid you not, lamb customer last year complained his half lamb did not come with two legs and two shoulders. I had to explain sheep anatomy to him....

We did have a Polled Dorset ram that was at least 18 stone. The scales only weighed to 18 stone...
He was a proper sheep, though.
