What is it that you all print is it not possible to email ?
Invoices that arrive by email or web site that join the invoices that come by post in the VAT files.
QR codes [did one last night].
Colour and mono photos, which require a high quality inkjet, not a laser.
Return labels
General information that is required outside the office.
Action lists and general dairy herd information for the cowman and myself both for reference and for adding notes, such as pregnancy diagnosis lists and noting results and treatments.
Training lists.
Emergency contacts lists.
Risk assessments.
Instructions.

Lots and lots of other material that needs printing for whatever reason, management and leisure.

This piece of paper which needs a physical signature for the Bank/Solicitor/Building Society/Accountant/HMRC
Yes.

I learnt something new the other day though, which is that us Apple Mac users can create and store our own signatures in the computer and apply it to any form and sent or forward it, signed, without ever printing it out, if received by email in the first place or indeed scanned into the computer. It seems that this is now a legally valid signature.

I've always sent Photos to be done by Photobox , Having never done my own photos ,does it not work out pricey to be printing your own to the same standard?

Depends on how many you have to print and the standard to which you wish to print and indeed on which paper you choose. There are some really very nice photopaper choices available that you could not specify from online bulk printers. People who like to print their own photos, maybe don't have fast internet or maybe just don't count the cost of having full control over their printing. They may just insist on having the full control on every aspect of the process that home printing gives, no matter what the cost.

Compare it, if you like, to film photography where the photographer had a choice of developing and printing at a photolab or to develop and print in their own darkroom with full control.
