Once, whilst judging, I happened to remark to a ploughman who shall remain nameless but might well have come from New Zealand........”tha nivver has much luck ploughing do you - set a beautiful straight rig like that, crown furrows well met and then a gang of ramblers just happens along an makes a path right up the middle of it”
Ramblers airlifted in :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Mark taggart Has ploughed many times in the European with frdcp’s on an rsld and gets away with it! I did hear a story about ransomes fitting some to rsld’s for a world match! Whether it’s right or wrong I have no idea! On that note would rsld’s have been fitted with 183’s originally?
Afternoon all, the number 12 Rsld which I plough with was purchased by my uncle in the seventies from a local champion ploughman, the plough is still as it was when I first saw it.

RSLD/ RSLM has nothing to do with the bodies fitted, it merely describes the plough, I was given 4 no 15 RSLM and two RSLD, one a 9. All had narrow YL bodies. In the farm scrap pile were more, mainly 9s most with digger bodies, IRDCP perhaps, and one or two with the short RND boards.I did look at those as parts for the RND bodied ESLD that I found,but the frogs had been plied in all directions!
The same farming family also gave me a four furrow cockshut, which was passed on.
Under the rule that bodies must have been available for the plough at time of manufacture, I think 183s are questionable on a trailer plough and FRDCP are illegal.
