New Red Tractor rules for 1st Nov

Any other dairy farm assurance schemes other than red tractor?
No, everything comes under the RT umberella.
Their are however different firms doing the farm inspections and it would seem they inspect to slightly different criteria, however it’s the dairy company that chooses which one they want to use. My dairy engineer says he gets requests from customers to address certain issues from some dairy companies that he doesn’t get from other’s and an inspector has told me that he does inspections for more than one firm and the questions asked are different.
I’m sure they will all be broadly the same, there’s certainly no way a dairy farm choose who they use other than changing milk buyer although I suspect any major differences on which is easier will be more likely to come down to the individual inspector.
