Doesnt it go like this ?

You must show that options 1 to 4 in the following hierarchy are not feasible before you follow option 5.

  1. Store the organic manure at the place of production. no room full up
  2. Store the organic manure at the place of use. cant access field
  3. Send the organic manure to an off-site anaerobic digestion plant or other effluent treatment plant, including at a sewage treatment works. rang them, your looking for some manure?...oh you looking to offload some? told to f' off were full
  4. Store the organic manure off-site. rang neighbour, do you want mine as well? Told to go forth and multiply
  5. Spread the organic manure on land with a low risk of leaching and run-off. Spread the manure.

A quite masterful summation of the situation.

Maybe but you’ll probably be expected to keep documentary evidence of points 1-4 because I don’t suppose they’ll take your word for it.

Have I read this right or do I need another coffee, I have to inform them when I am going to spread? or maybe not? I do like the bit ''we will withdraw this, unless we extend it.

Everybody just needs to email the EA for the RPS to start with. I can't see how anything can progress forwards until we know what it entails properly.

But then you have to go:

Is it sandy soil No
Is it on a slope of >8 degrees Mostly no
Has the land been subsoiled/moled/drained in last 12 months No
Are there drains in field Yes, because it's the type of land where spring spreading is nonsense

So only spread if you can find strips more than 10m from the drains. :scratchhead:

I reckon you be daft to apply for permission, as it will just make finding fault easier for the new ranks of inspectors.
