Looks good spec steelwork, That is the most bolts I have ever seen in an eaves connection, any idea what size they are

Steel sizes are 356x171x45 columns
305x165x40 rafters

Not sure about the bolts but will have a look when up there.

Many of the other quotes I had were for lighter steel.

Very good steel sizes, We have structural calcs for buildings with 3m fill of grain on that spec but at only 100m above sea level

We are only 100m above sea level too. Only 6miles from coast.

Think the bolts are m20s.

Shed may be converted in future hence decision to choose heavy steelwork.

@Richy12 corner bases were speced 1500x1500x600 for two holes at each end
1200x1200x600 for middle two holes on each side.

Guy who does our buildings always wants the middle post holes bigger than the end ones as he says they take more strain in the middle, just finished sorting the holes for our latest one, it's on a sloping site and will have a slight slope inside for various reasons, every leg is different length to ensure they are under the inside and outside floor levels, add in all but three holes have dug up drains, water pipe or the old base of the slurry store has made it a long job the last three days, hope I have got it right or he will take the pee when he comes tomorrow to set the bolts

Where’s the wire ropes on the side rails, so you can tension them level ?.
I didn’t like to say anything but as your on the subject the bottom strut from the eaves beam to the first purlin was missing when the pictures were taken but perhaps it’s in now but you must agree it looks a bang on job

They are all on now. I just take pics at night or when the lads aren't working. You can see the wires if you zoom in on the panel pictures.
