Last shed we did took at least 6 months to get to this stage- thats why the same company never got to do this one.

I think there could be a good business in project management with shed building - setting up and knowing the right contractors to call to do the best quality, best value and fastest job, making a margin yet still coming in cheaper than most others....especially any other firm doing the whole job who seem to want ££££!

That said, there's always the unknown, and the potential for massive hiccups or fallouts somewhere along the line if not careful.

Busy last couple of days (Monday and Tuesday) with steel erectors finishing off sockets for dividing wall and gates and diggerman laying type 1.

Glad of some peace and quiet this morning getting the place back to myself.

All ready for concrete.

Are the wall panels inside the steel channel or are they attached to the face of the steel. Have you got any close up photos. I never seen them used in Ireland and they seem very common in the UK. It is all shuttered walls here. If I was building a slatted shed again I would consider using them.

They are between the steel at the front for feeding over. Round the sides they are against the steel which is normal practice. They have tabs bolted on the back which clamp them to the face of the steel.

Never seen panels and cladding on before roof. Looking good though. What size is it?
100ft x100 ft x 20 ft high twin span, it’s basically two of your shed joined together, steel rafters got delayed so they started putting side sheets on. Wanted panels flush with outside so had to put panels between uprights before rafters go on otherwise can’t get them in
