New shed build

My 30 day prior notification has just finished to put up an 80x40x12 steel frame lambing shed.

The only place we can put it has a 1300mm drop away meaning we will have to bring the back level up.

My question is do we bring the whole site level up, have got a local haulage firm looking to tip from another site they are working on and will do all the relevant paperwork.
Or do we get shed with longer back legs and use concrete panels as retaining walls and infill that way?

A friend has suggested that ground might settle too much doing the first option.... what are people’s thoughts?

Thanks
Steve

I’m thinking with the second option probably best to get a shed erector to come in and do ground work etc.
I have put up a 60x30 myself including all the ground work etc but it was on a flat site so was pretty straight forward

Get the shed made to suit the ground fall so all the legs go in existing ground as you are on 20ft bays you will need a 6" panel for retaining the fill you can fit this one upside down if using 4" above as the 6 and 4 will not marry up together if the shed is going on holding down bolts make sure they are up graded to 4no m24 8.8 and set 18" below the natural ground level and cap up with concrete once the sheds up.Make sure your shed man uses a broad enough post to give a good bearing on the 6" panels sounds a faf but fairly easy to do we have done loads like this recently 3m retained on the outside up to building

We put up a general purpose FYM/silage store and the back of shed was around 3ft above original level so put down shale and compacted with vibrating role every few inches...guess what, it settled. It’s not bad but the concretes cracked a bit at one corner and panels have dropped around an inch
