Does any of the umbilical draw off pipes go in to the store and draw out of a sump, like a 600mm deep concrete ring in the floor so it draw out right empty?
Our new one has a 200mm pipe running into the centre which drops down into a sump.
Thats what you want. Straight from the store not from the reception pit!
Its stainless pipe into the middle and 8" valves this time. Can't see why plastic wouldn't work thoughJd Everytimie 4997542 said:Plastic pipe inside store? 200mm pipe on to 6" valves or bigger valves too?
Original pipes been in 21 years and never been any bother, not sure what pressure will be in the pipes.
It is not rated for pressure at all. In fact I have known the spiral reinforced suction hose, rated at 2 bar, burst with the pressure from a slurry pump. Had to get these made specially.I never knew that stuff was rated to pump slurry down under any pressure!
Is it big enough Stephen?https://www.moore-concrete.com/agriculture/above-ground-slurry-store/stephen-kennedy/
This is our store. Finished ground level is top of the reception tank so might be nearer 2m of fill on the left hand side.
