No such thing as grandfather rights

Sorry, but as far as I am aware - I never said Grandfather rights do exist did I?

I did however, refer to the course he had linked to, as I can recall being given the basics of it when I went for my PA's and there was some mention of age etc that was linked to people holding onto the Grandfather rights ethos etc.

puzzled by your reply there is no licence to buy only to use
I've watch a small number of 'older' farmers spraying and know that there is no way on earth they have any inkling of the rules that are required for safe application of chems. I know it is not rocket science but FFS when it's gusting F5 on the Beaufort scale you really shouldn't be out in your IH or Bateman at all!!!! Shame on them for their misuse. Obtaining PA's is a pleasant social excersise not circumcisiono_O so what's the problem with at least trying to be a better applicator?;)

I’ve watched mostly contractors or big farms that need to ‘ get on ‘, spraying in less than ideal conditions .

It aims to assess the varietal composition of wheat, barley, oats and oilseed rape crops in the UK. The results of this survey will allow the industry to quantify domestic production, at a time when food security is more important than ever.
