First one delivered and set-up / training day. Big change for us after 20 years of self propelled Batemans (which have been fantastic machines)

Very impressed with it so far, the boom is almost supernatural in its stability and the automatic nozzle switching will be a step change in the speeds and application rates we use

The technology in this thing is stunning, true plug and play wit the 724, no extra wires or boxes added to the cab at all

The new Michelin also look impressive, their load rating at speed and low pressure is a big step on, I think improvements in tyre tech over the last 10 years or so have been some of the most innovative things going in in ag yet are largely ignored

You're going to have some big tramlines .

can't see it being an issue - no till fields are a different world of load carrying and it will run on 710/610 tractor and 650/42 sprayer tyres all year round at much lower pressures than the bateman did all are MIchelin and run very low pressure . A lot more rubber and air under this with 6 vs 4 wheels

710 at 36m is less crop ran down than our old 710 winter and 420 narrow option on the bateman was at 24m if yo do the maths as well

710/42 on the tractors - with less tramiline its less crop ran down that we used to at 24 on 420's

I don't follow - 2x420s in 24m is 3.5%, 2x710s in 36m is 3.9%. There might also be an argument that less sunlight/inputs are wasted in the narrower tramlines. OTOH sprayer workrate increase is undeniable.

Can’t be bothered to do the maths again but @warksfarmer had a spreadsheet / calculation he posted on here some time ago that had various tramline width and tyre combinations vs crop loss %
