I have some panels on a farm roof, where the farmer is hoping to have a new upgraded supply very shortly, which will supply new grain stores etc.
In the discussions the builder has suggested and UKPN agree resiting the meter would be useful.
Of course this poses issues, we are not allowed to change the Mpan meter the panels are connected too.
Having read through all the rules regarding these meters I can see nothing stopping the meter being issued the same number as the last, in fact it would appear that more than one meter on the same site can have the same Mpan.
Has anyone else had this issue and has it been resolved in that way?
