Cant find anything online...anyone know what they are
More cattle testing?
Six monthly in HRA unless you've been clear for 6 years, 90 days between SI tests and some at our expense. That was the gist of the last consultation. I've no idea if all/any of that is to be implemented though.
c'mon @matthew that's not really contradictory. The NFU was wrong (unsure why you'd ask them), as was a telephone answering person, who provided the correct information. Are you running out of blog post ideas?
You're not 1 year old when you are born, you have 60 clear days (from injection) from when you can sell tested clear cattle. It's crystal clear that the day they are tested is day 0.

It may well start from the injection day , but when it takes the feckers 30 days to sort out your test paperwork to lift you, it's no wonder that you get different answers.
Will have a answer on Tuesday.Any news if they are going to do the blood test on your cattle @sidjon ??
22 days sounds quick, but did have ours removed within 5 days this time , neighbour has his after 5 weeks.Jab day is day 0,so day 1 is the next day, this is the information I've always been given both from my own vet,AHPA and 2 different auctioneers.
This always appears to be correct when i receive my testing window dates, the only difference being if they remove reactors 60 days is then counted from day of removal.
Although they claim to take reactors within ten days my last 3 weren't removed until 22 days after reading the test.
their actions contradict their words when it comes to the risk of cattle spreading TBneighbour has his after 5 weeks.
have you had any "trouble" with the haulers that collect them ?22 days sounds quick, but did have ours removed within 5 days this time , neighbour has his after 5 weeks.
Too true unfortunately, seems to be a back log as cattle now seem to be heading to Crewe to be killed ( what they can't use west Devon again is beyond me )their actions contradict their words when it comes to the risk of cattle spreading TB
Not this time and if stilmans pick them up there never seems to be, but have had problems with some of the muppets.have you had any "trouble" with the haulers that collect them ?
