New to shooting initially after advice or tuition

Good morning guys
My name is adam 30years old from Selby north yorkshire. As the title says i am new to shooting i got my licence last year. I have been clay pigeon shooting a number of times and am looking to start shooting pigeons over fields etc. I am wondering if people could help me out with some tuition initially as to say am a novice would be an understatement. I currently have a 12 bore shotgun and a member of BASC. if people could let me know i would appreciate it or even good books etc . Willing to travel 15-20 miles of selby as i drive.
