You won't be dead.

2009 I bought a new berli for £9k....wonder what they are now?

when I changed in 2019 I had to buy 5 yr old as newer ones had fancy screens but could tow feck all....Citroën lost their way IMO..

How much spannering would a newer one need? What sort of money would a winter's service by a dealer to put it all right in winter be?
They need an operator who knows what they are doing and has the time, tools and permission from management to spend money on it to prevent breakdowns, especially if it is second hand, driving it is the easy part.
If you're depending on a winter service to keep you going all season with a workload like Bald Rick's you're going to have to spend a lot of money and change major components before failure.
Having control of when you cut only works if the equipment and operators are reliable.

Anyone want to see some pics of my chopper? With a big pussy on the side?

Ooooh ...

Straight to work ... except a belt had gone (bad form by the seller who should have known- or didn't want to know - that it was fritzed)
Nice chopper 🤪
The belt things makes it sound like it finished last season and got parked with no maintenance.
Best of luck with it, hope the pilot has some spanner experience.

Did you buy it from Seven Seas - very very interested how you like it and how you use it
Hi JP,
Yes Seven Seas. They were very good and not at all pushy about payments. It had a 3 month warranty but I had no issues.
Turned up as good as it looked in the pictures. It's a 2006 carburettor version as opposed to electric petrol injection, more chance of fixing it myself and more power. The newer ones are restricted due to emissions rules.
Japanese import, HMG have killed the light bike industry in this country.
Nice light bike with good power, although I am a sunny day rider only. ;)

Picked this up today due to the fact the pickup went in for a service and apparently needs a new engine! Not good @ 60k miles 🤷🏻‍♂️. Thankfully still under warranty but could be there for a few months as there’s 5 more to do before mine 🤦🏻‍♂️.
