Let us know how she wears, just spent a day in mine welding up the auger, it has just come back from the local blacksmith as chain was jumping off, 3 days later new chain and main gear. Rebuilt door runners in summer. If I had known it was going to be so much i would not have started!

I have the same one and agree the pins are like spaghetti, and beware if the side sheets are pop riveted on- they will pop out with the weight of ewes pressing against them. I’ve just used tek screws now. Surprised really they haven’t welded an extra box section across half way down where the most stress will be. But otherwise it’s a good system and I’m sure you’ll be pleased with it!
Just remember to drop the handle that tensions the springs when you're not using it to stop the springs stretching. That is usually the cause of the slurry line.Ask me later on this year as i wont remember to let u know

Ye but was told in the dry dung from rearin to point of lay houses the auger wont stick the pressure and moves back so thats why the west
When the clutch goes on that it will be a cheaper home made fix and I bet it stays on the farm longer and won't drop in value
Strange as a Shelbourne spreads from the middle, Auger pulls from both ends into middle.
