Dealer: 'Ok, Mr Baldrick, which options exactly would you like have on your used John Deere?'

Baldrick: 'yes'.

Actually it wasn't as simple as that ...

we set out to buy another tractor entirely (because it was cheap with 10k hrs) but by the time we had added autotrac (with all the gubbins including activation) £8.5k as a package, front links (without PTO), and tyre swap with another machine in their yard, we weren't a million miles off this one and we had been looking for a loader so that we had capacity if the TM was off site.

So now we have an 18 plate (rather than 15), half the hours, front PTO so capable of mowing if big one is doing other work, full guidance for maize drilling, loader worth in excess of £7k, wider tyres AND a compatible CB to our other machines and all this in time for our maize work ........

as I said - hen's teeth to get the full monty

@Heathland we are just about to take delivery of our 2nd Optum. Agree about the dated cab (new one is coming eventually) but you are absolutely right about its pulling power. Very very impressive and pulls way above what you think it will. Also small enough to put on a grain trailer etc..
You have any info about Optum new cab? Pictures or video? Case homepage and google seems to know nothing about that.
Thanks.
