there’s a collar it sits in that has a recess to mount it in a post.

Needed another rain gauge now it’s started to rain...,hope it’s not jinxed it!!

This one is a bit more hi tech than my other, with a ring around top to add up the daily totals....damned clever these Germans you know!

Identical to my voss ones which I’ve had 4/5 slip and lose gearing/drive completely first time reeling in.

Similar to some I have. Some 3 years older.

So far only one has failed.

Though I’m not loading loads of poly wire on mine, just 200m, unlike @Al R who has arms like Popeye and 50000000000000m on his .....

ive got 4 to strip down and try and line back up, on the far left where the split pin is needs more washers to stop it coming apart so the square comes out and starts turning, thus allowing the whole unit to slip

Just realised I’ve got one of those, never noticed the ring around the top add daily amounts. Think I must be loosing it
Bracket fits really well on a broom handle pushed in the ground.

I had 1 with 3 gearboxes in 2 years hence the move to yam.
still got the DCT but it drinks fuel in D and all the workers only run it in D
