Thanks for the tip will keep an eye out for the conditioner tines. Have had a quick glance of the manual so far but it seems a different ball game getting it set right to the trailed one.

So basically I need the right rear lift arm height at 70cm and the 2 arrows lined up when it’s in work position., what’s the deal with the pressure gauge?
Just set as the book says and keep an eye on it the pressure will drop over time but it may need pushing back up maybe once a season if that.

We are going into our 5th season with the same set up. We are very happy with them. Only thing to look out for is the conditioner tine assembly. They can ware and the holes go egg shaped and are a bit of a ball ache to repair we just drill them out and put a bigger bolt in instead of the roll pin and m8 bolt. It's only a problem if you hit something bigish and only on the back mower. Ground contour following is very good and I like the left hand side lower link on a ram and hooking up is a doddle especially if you have spool valve controls on the fender.
Looks like a good setup, why the ram on the lower link?

In the Midwest farmers put their rain gauge at the end of their road next to their mail box. That way other farmers driving around can see how much rain there has been in each area. Pretty good idea.
Good idea , but we can't leave a simple honesty box for a few eggs at end of our drive without it being nicked , expect a rain gauge wouldn't last any longer, it's a sad world world unfortunately

It's to set the pitch of the mower in work and in transport. It saves having to adjust the lower link arms to different lengths to get the mower level and then it is all to cock when you fold it up. It also makes hooking up easier you put the hydraulics in and then put the link down to the arm rather than the other way round. There is a bit of a method to hooking up and dropping off but there aren't many mounted mowers that don't have their own quirks.

Just picked up new tractor

Have one here going into it's 8th season & like them, ours has the ram to flip the end flap up.
Hasn't given any bother other than the odd set of belts, I find I never need to move the ram hooking on & off much tho now they stay on most of the season, last year we got the kit for hooking the rear off folded which saves space but mostly still hook off flat during the season.
