Since selling the hay bob many years ago we’ve always relied on contractors. We have known tedding was the key to grass quality. This was further brought home after flirting with soft bales and effluent this time. Key requirement though was 200+ acres in a reasonable day.

About 2.5x a 7m machine. I priced Krone and Pottinger and they were in a similar ball park. So it was more of a machine choice rather than price choice. The 2.4m transport width was a key selling point. Had to be trailed so it could go on the little Case at busy times.

That was something I wondered about later. At the time I was wondering where are the markers? a £1200 extra. I have sent an email with no reply however my Son got hold of the salesman who said ‘oops forgot to put them in’ Not really what I wanted hear.

LED lights, fridge, electric mirrors the 195 was pre command arm which is now standard on ultimates.
