@ollie989898 ,@stablegirl , any idea how much wider the 7055 class is than a 6030?
My 32.6 merlo is getting to that age, and I’d love the 55 , but worry it wouldn’t fit up the feed passage !

I can't tell you, the farm I worked on had a newer model 7035(?) and the earlier Kramer built model before it. I don't reckon there will be much in it but in the kramer you feel you are sat up higher and can see over the side of the machine better. The newer model feels a lot bigger because you are surrounded by cabin and machine. All you can do is ask for a demonstrator and try it?

The latest models from Claas are built by Liebherr so should be the finest handler in the marketplace to be honest.

So which performed best?

Unfortunately the claas was a bit late in coming so not had it in the field (hopefully getting it back in the spring) I have to say I think the claas is a lot more comfortable to drive and I like the arm rest controller better that the command pro In the Deere. The Claas travels much better on the road thanks to front axel, cab and track suspension Where th JD only has cab suspension.

You wouldn't really know which one old was old and which one was new. Old one looks has tidy has new one.
