7 years ...... or approximately 102,000 tonnes of silage/maize/other stuff & included an auger rebuild 18 months ago but body was coming away from chassis so NBG now
Dunno how you tolerated the pos for that long.....(mind you I had the misfortune to be stuck with one for 8 years). Happiest day of my life when it left on the back of a truck.
Destroyed the clutch pack in the magnum once. Then destroyed the entire pto pack in the magnum. Self destructed the 2 speed gearbox on mixer, auger bushings, set of knives only lasted 2/3rds of a season. Fuel usage has more than halved with a same tractor on a 50% bigger mixer. Oh and in 5 years I've changed half the knives once. Dutch vs American......chalk and cheese.

Kept the rolls,very impressed with the Case Optum,very much liked the cvx gear box,impressive pulling power,pulled like a train and very quiet,but the cab is,....being diplomatic......... cramped and a bit dated!
But going to give it a couple of months 😉,I've taken my 🟢🟡 goggles off😄
@Will 1594

New cab soon for the Optum and NH HD .....

Heathland "we are just about to take delivery of our 2nd CASE Optum 300cvx. Agree about the dated cab (new one is coming eventually) but you are absolutely right about its pulling power. Very very impressive and pulls way above what you think it will. Also small enough to put on a grain trailer etc"..

Yep, both the red and the blue version have given equal and higher powered green machines a bloody nose in direct competition. Should be a peach of a tractor when they get the bigger new cab fitted this autumn and more power apparently.

First chance to post on this thread and what a new toy!

New custom built 2.5m 5 leg omnitil with a DD packer from plowman. Having a go with it this evening and it seems to be performing great. Got to say plowman's have to be one of the best companies we've ever dealt with and have a product to match!
