Got my Fendt back to where I work today from haulers yard this afternoon. Real Happy with her drove back the mile and half smiling like a little kid. Got a few bits to do to it to get it ready for work but shes straight enough. Now just to find a front linkage and maybe loader to fit as well.

That is tidy if you bought that for under 20K you did very well

there was one on ibidder a few weeks ago for under 20k & I just missed one a few months ago for under 20k

Correct way is a blue 16 amp plug but you would be much better off with some 15amp fuse wire than a nail, that nail is steel not copper and not a very good conductor so will have a lot of resistance heating up and melting the plug!!!

No responsibilities taken for such bodgering advice…..

Thats why you use those old bakerlite plugs

I wish she was under 20. I paid 25k with Vat for her. done 10591 Hrs if the clocks right and looks like a tidy well loved machine for them hrs gonna give it a good polish and see if I can clean her up some more and maybe put new decals on it to fresher her up.

That is still good value for money and will grow in to more money in the year's to come

If you are not to bothered about originality you are cheaper off buying a new zuidberg front linkage. Fendt ones are like hens teeth, and the seller will know that. However money clearly not being an object, try cjvdheuvel.nl, a big fendt dealer/breaker overhere. There is also one in denmark but I can't recall the name.

Some new but a lot of second hand ex UK stuff that isn’t available here. I’ve just come back to dismantle some stuff to send later in the month. I don’t normally do manual work so I’m not sure if my soft hands will stand up to it.

They tack weld chocks onto the flat trailer and then you’ve got to cut or knock them off. Apparently the only damage was the bracket that holds the drawbar on the axle. So far we’ve never had anything arrive damaged but I’ve seen combines that have fallen off lorries and containerised tractors that have been rolled.
