Can't see the benefit of it if the AC is working. I never open the windows, only doors when i get in and out. 😅
Unfortunately for me, the A/C system in this particular machine has decided it doesn't want to be A/C anymore. The pump's seized, the belt's missing, the fans are noisy/not functional, the filters are clogged.

These Deutz cabs are like glass houses, the front window is the only thing stopping me from becoming a Sunday roast.

Previous to my post few weeks back this machine is working a treat, gave a little paint spruce up before covering it in sh#t. Leaving no stripy bits compared to the west it replaced :)

Why is black the new thing, what's the thinking behind it?
Contractor we use had a couple of black case and I'm pretty sure there's a black Deere john ploughing next door.
I agree, I appreciate most vehicles have air conditioning, but I thought black is the worst colour for reflecting heat. In the past on a very hot day I have touched the bonnet of a white car and a black car next to it , the white bonnet was surprisingly cooler than the black one, and “ I did that when they had both been parked for a few hrs so engines in both vehicles must have been cool” ;)

It does look cool but as someone who’s into paintwork and detailing I can’t think of anything worse than keeping a black car free of marks and swirls, let alone a tractor that spends its life getting muddy and dusty. I bet some of them up close on a sunny day look absolutely scuffed to death.
