New toy day

I used to have an iPad but tbh the iPhone is now such a master of all trades I don’t feel the same for an iPad which in all essence is a 2 handed item, and I cannot stand sitting with a laptop.

The only time I use a desktop computer is in the office for farm and cow stuff.

Most people I know are the same to be honest, 99% of usage is simply their iPhone for everything.
Tablets have been made almost obsolete by phones. Poor parts compared to phones and hard to travel with. That said i do love my 6,8" phone. Many say they want smaller phones, but the market sure doesn't seem like it.

Last phone I bought new was €120 ish. I tend to wreck them in 2 years anyway so I bought a secondhand one a few months ago for €45. So far so good.
I tend to buy flagships because i can't stand lag. Every 1 to 2 years and usually they break mechanically so it'll be an insurance claim.

How does it compare to the lely?
We’ve had a 10m Pottinger for the last 3 years alongside the Lely. We tended to use the Lely for 1st pass, but Pottinger for the rest as it makes a better job in drier conditions. Pottinger was always the drivers preference but maybe because you don’t have to get off the seat to set up the border spreader.
The Lely would perhaps stand more abuse.

As usual, it was the backup that made our mind up, really struggled with bits for the Lely.

Picked up new tractor and Spreader today, seemed a good time to upgrade the spreader given the current N prices!!

Like for like swap on the tractor, first impressions good on the latest Superglide kit fitted on this oneView attachment 1038251View attachment 1038252

Fantastic, hope it all works out for you. However, I can't help but notice that building on the right in the bottom picture. I can't work it out because it looks part farm building with classic roof tiles, but then appears to have skylights and obscured windows. Is it a meth lab?
