Yes it’s a macdon
Probably a stupid question, but what was wrong with the old one?Yes it’s a macdon

What combine do you have, what was/is the old header? No new combine will give us 10%to15% more output and will be better in beans and linseed nothing wrong with old header when we change combine shall have it with out header keep the macdon
If a macdon is better why do the combine manufacturers not upgrade thier own header. Over in the us alot of operators use a honeybee i think its called
We run cr 9070 with a 30 ft vari feed headerWhat combine do you have, what was/is the old header?

CNH did a deal where as Macdon will make their headers , so From next year you can order your new New Holland or Case IH combines with branded Macdon headers
How do you find the alpine tractor and what’s its main jobSky juicing today so managed to jump back on here for a bit. Should have posted these in the spring but it was all systems go. New Agritrend 3m folding harrows for our alpine and a new to us 6m set of Opico spring harrows. Must be 15yr old but done only a days work and sat in a shed since, paint still on the tines.

With the price of ad blue more than tripling I thought best to try and have something that wont leak and spill so much or overflow or have a load left in an open pipe getting grimey....
Still manual but much nicer to use and the electric was too expensive to warrant. The thread into the barrel is much better, manual gun but you can just keep pumping till it just quietly leaks back from the filler and click the gun off, so everything in the hose is saved and the hose is 4m. Much better than the lever pump we had before with about 1m of hose.

Good question. I know Gwent is a bit hilly in places but wouldn’t class it as mountainous. How do you find the alpine tractor and what’s its main job
Yeah, brilliant. Main job is flail topping work as it's reverse drive as well. The angles you can use it on are pretty bonkers. Do a lot of flail collecting work as well, sits on a mini wrapper a bit and any other jobs you can't get the big kit to.How do you find the alpine tractor and what’s its main job
JD and Claas do now make there own versions of Macdons/Honeybee type headers. If a macdon is better why do the combine manufacturers not upgrade thier own header. Over in the us alot of operators use a honeybee i think its called
