New Tractor and Loader

Have fun with that horrendous hi-tec gearbox on the older n series. On the bright sight, it did take the attention off of the stupidly layed out side console.

I liked my old manual hitec I’ll have you no haha

They were littered in a very messy way on the right and left side there was 4-5 buttons for my loader light buttons all over the place and plenty of black squares with nothing in them
The N4 definitely has less buttons

Hi Folks,

We are currently looking to purchase a new tractor and loader around 100/110hp. We are looking for a nice compact tractor for around the yard and going in and out of sheds cleaning them out, it will also be used for the odd few jobs out the land. We have a loader on the farm as well so the tractor won't be needed for heavy lifting. We have looked at a good few makes, but have it kinda narrowed down to John Deere 5100r, Case farmall 115, Valtra A114 or Massey Ferguson 5711s. Has any one experience with any of these or have suggestions? Thanks Farmer lad

Get the Massey for it's sloping bonnet, can't beat visibility on a loader tractor

Get a Hurliman, fantastic compact tractor with loads of torque, be cheaper than most of the ones you’ve looked at and a better spec

No apart from the engine and tyres everything else is differant and I've heard that the sisu engine used by Massey is from a differant factory with a differant spec than what's used in valtra.

James, what are you saying?

The only good bit in the MF is the SISU and it’s not even a real SISU

That’s the T5.140 AutoCommand Bluepower, looks to be a T5 bonnet and backend with T6 cab and gearbox. It’s also NHs first Tier5 tractor. A T5 ElectroCommand is around 50-55k depending on spec last time I priced, guessing another 10-15k for an AC model?

Any idea when they are available?

Get a vario if it's going on a loader and make sure it has forward/reverse on the joystick. You won't know yourself once you have driven it for an hour.
