Going to look at a NH T.5 Dynamic Command and the Case equivalent CVX in the next few days, it will be interesting to compare them.Get an Autocommand, no need for neutral then.
Try out the AutoCommand too. Same as Cvx, but if you try DC and compare it to Cvx/AC you'll probably be dissapointed on the DC.Going to look at a NH T.5 Dynamic Command and the Case equivalent CVX in the next few days, it will be interesting to compare them.

Don’t support the Chinese engines. If enough people do to save a few bucks, then it will be the only option and China will have us over a barrel.Update on loader tractors.
Have had a Valtra g135 on demo for a few days and really like it. Well built, easy and comfortable to drive with logical controls. Has just about teright level of gadgets without been stuffed full of buttons to play with. Good ride on the road, better than New Holland, pulling a 25 foot trailer with 30 quadrrant straw bales up and down hills. Price very similar to New holland.
New Holland has not been here long enough to assess properly but initialy seems a bit more complicated to use but slightly better visibility. Stacked full of toys and buttons, brakes are dead, transmission is good but not as smooth and fluid as the Gima 6 in the Valtra. Both have brake to clutch facility which is very good. Loving the shuttle in the Valtra.
A close run thing but the Valtra looks favorite at the moment. We will have to get down to some serious number crunching and see what they are really going to cost.
Bit late for that.China will have us over a barrel.
It is more about service from dealers, build quality and value for money than where the engine is assembled is it not? As others say it is a bit late for that!Don’t support the Chinese engines. Obviously not a fan of iPhone then...If it’s built in China, it will be Shyte
I’ve seen the result and life changing injuries when Chinese high pressure unions fail at 25% of their rated pressure. If I find out there is Chinese unions on a rig I shut it down until they get changed out. I’m not living with that on my conscious.Obviously not a fan of iPhone then...
No other mainstream brand builds engines for western markets in China. Agco are testing the waters here to see if farmers will accept it.Don’t most manufacturers have plants in China and middle East etc now assembling sub components etc. Labour is cheaper so the money talks….

Looking at buying a new tractor and loader, 120hp+ 4 cylinder 40k or 50k . The options are, thinking about dealers and service: New Holland or Case Valtra or a secondhand 312 Fendt. What are peoples opinions, will not do massive hours but will be kept a long time and must be comfortable and reliable. Front and cab suspension are a must, loader will only get occasional use.
I could but for various reasons we have decided to sell just about everything, change of business etc.Could you keep your Massey with the loader on?
No 50k option on vestrum, maybe a laptop mod could sort that thoThe new case vestrum cvx with a loader would be a good choice, similar money to a valtra but a tad better.
Not sure how cvx box and130 hp would get on on Devon hills? Probably struggle at 40k evenNo 50k option on vestrum, maybe a laptop mod could sort that tho
May just start and buy zetors nowNo other mainstream brand builds engines for western markets in China. Agco are testing the waters here to see if farmers will accept it.
If they do then soon it will be the only choice. It’s like Red Tractor. The early adopters make it compulsory for everyone else.
