thats list price. I

We have just priced up to swap our 2 tractors, Massey new was 81,000. Valtra was 85000. both agco dealers value them identical. Both within 50hrs of each other..
why even mention the list price then its a waste of time.
#confused more then ever.
even at £110k it will loose £35k in 3year even low hours
a Fendt wont

You have to love MF fan boys, never even seen the thing and and still he preaches about how amazing it is . And as for sucking air from the cab end why would you do that the cleanest air is the air in front of the tractor not behind it all your doing is sucking the heat from the engine and transmission and blowing it into the cooling system.
Did David brown not do this in the 1980’s with the 90 series? The cab heater tool air in at the from of the cab, which was too hot, so they changed the fan to suck air from the cab end.

Yes they did, and then when hedgecutting the leaves etc clogged the rad fan side , which wasn't easy to clean.

£2-3k total interest the duck claims £20k ! 6% example above £1800, if you can’t get 6% it will be more. Probably best to start a new thread, its amazes me people don’t work the real cost of various methods of finance.
Agree that some don't understand finance, mine comes in under 5% though and I didn't have to work too hard to get that either.

The 8S is a massive step forward in tractor design compared to anything else on the market apart from a JCB. These are the only two playing in the same league currently in my opinion.
They certainly look the part and I hope they are brilliant but it would be nice to see a few years down the line how reliable they are as Massey has a habit of bringing out some utterly fantastic tractors......and some utter sheds

It was only the 7626 that wasnt available with vt at the start but became available later on. The 77 series was always available with vt so thats not the reason
whats actually happened poss by accident is there will be an age gap in older 7720 & up masseys just not there in the used market at 3-5yrs old say as they couldnt sell anymore of them
because of engine regs they were all T4 final remember once the engines were used up by whoever powers that cover that control that was it.
Even tho the smaller chassis 7716S to 7719S and still available to buy even today as they moved to Tier5 nearly 2years ago.
The bigger ones never did that move, new model coming soon was the reason.
That model poss due to covid & whatever else new model reasons has been delayed somewhat in the end.
Launched July 2020 & there only just available just before xmas or early Jan as folks have seen.
Ive even heard of old stock T4 7700 tractors not allowed to be registered after a certain date so dealers couldnt even sell them on.
you couldnt insure them also. all because of rules n regs to keep the polar bears happy.
