New trailer

Thinking about getting a new livestock box, currently have a Graham Edwards there local which is a plus, but the decks are a bit numb. Thinking of ifor or nugent as a change what's people's thoughts?

Just got a 14ft Ifor with the bigger wheels on the outside no problems with it atall and tows like a dream

We changed from GE to ifor 4 years ago mainly because decks are much easier for OH to use and no regrets. Had no problems to date.

Everyone local to me runs Ifor Williams but I have a 14 foot twin axle Nugent with Decks in. I havnt met anyone who hasnt been impressed with my trailer and commented on the build quality. When parked next to an Ifor there's no competition. Ifor are like Jd tractors and JCB loaders poeple buy them because that's what they've always had not what is best. Which ever brand you buy you will be able to sell it for nearly what you paid for it in 10 years time.

Don’t no why people pay so much for used trailers when the new ones are so cheap

As above we have ifor and would say that GE Nugent Gamic all look better build quality. Question of what you prefer balanced against cost as they all usually dearer.
I think our old GE better build quality than ifor but heavier and ifor does what it says on tin.

It's good but a Gamic would do the same job at a lot less money

You can also talk to Dan and have your trailer configured exactly how you'd like it

I’ve never seen a gamic in my life....no one in the north has one that I’ve seen but when I’ve looked at the houghton it looked excelllent quality

How much would a 12' gamic be @JP1 do you recon? Going off price list ifor looks cheaper than GE but like the look of Nugent

I wouldn't like to say. If it was me, I'd go see them in the metal first and make enquiries

Bateson may well be the lightest in any category. Are the decks up to much though?

Have a 8ft ifor TA5 for behind the car. Tried a few different trailers before I bought. Found the ifor just towed the smoothest and was nicely balanced. Don’t think they’ve the best trailer on the market, but probably the easiest trailer to resale afterwards.

More like 11 to 12 months,I’ve ordered a 14’ since March,doubt I’ll see it before Christmas. I am mates with his dad so might be lucky..
