New valley gutter

Has anyone got a really good way of doing a Valley gutter or is it just best the stay away.

I'm not too keen on the wide steel ones I have seen, agree easy to clean Weir at end etc but they rust quick enough.
I have 6" storm flow plastic on buildings and like it, 4" down pipes set gutter at a fall so not full of sediment. (Seen steels set flat and full of sediment)
Debating if a 6" deepflow will manage, but not be ideal to clean out so thought about letting one roof go onto the other so it's just like a standard gutter?
Or even make sheds 2 heights and just have 2 standard gutters? But ones gutter will basically be inside the other shed
Sheds will be 90ft long a 30ft and 60ft span

A wide steel valley is the best option IMO. Easy to clean & unlikey to overflow into the shed, which could be an issue with the deepflow

Got a galv one put in 27 years ago has just started to get rust holes, Nowt lasts for ever

I put a Plygene liner into a square bottomed steel gutter and it was really good at moving rubbish...

Now got a steel one from Thomas Profiles and Panels. Time will tell on lifespan, but it'll outlast me...

Is one shed actually build or can’t you go single span even putting uprights inside if you need them?

I have the 30ft spans which want moving, I was thinking the value would be so little to sell but still a decent workshop for me.
Then I need a grain store and it lends well to being alongside workshop, no point leaving a silly gap and paying for 2 walls

Crappy design in some cases.

I saw a valley on an industrial building the other day, good width really, couple of foot or more, BUT the overhangs made it hard to get down the valley I reckoned... Crap design!

Membrane lined valleys are very good.

Heavy down pour, with strong winds,
Grains store only had 6 in plastic gutter, as the water poured over the gutter, the wind was blowing it back under the facia,
Very bad design, or lacking design

Couldn't agree more. Many big warehouses or supermarkets have what I refer to as "rooftop gardens" with the gutters growing like mad.

Nobody seems to think of maintenence these days.

Was often thinking about this, how about 8” stormflo plastic gutter. Keep the timber on one shed back 18” from the end of the sheet. Plenty room now if you want to access it after.
