Must be standard tank only then. Got 6 different machines fuelled from 2 different fuel stations and new N series only tractor froths up.
Good to see they are doing something with the steps.
Rust on our 2 year old ones is shocking.

With you on the steps on both sides too. As for the tank it used to froth a hell of a lot and stop you filling it right up but swapped the auto shut off gun to a manual gun and it’s a lot better. Fuel is pumped to rather than gravity fill.

Powered coating sharp edged laser cut metal is never going to work.
paint gets broken by stepping on the sharp edges, water gets under it and then it’s downhill from there.
See it on several manufacturers steps , same method , same end result.

Agree.
Strangely though those right hand steps that have never been used are far worse than the left hand set in constant use

I've seen beand new New Hollands with rusted steps arrive at the dealers. The first thing they do is re-paint them. Apparently the salty sea air and shipping does them no favors.

It's been bothering me a while, but now i'mma ask it. Do you brits find it weird that you climb into the tractor from the left side, but you'll get into your cars from the right (wrong) side? 😂

Hadn’t really thought about it but yes suppose it is strange , driving a left hand drive car abroad feels strange for a bit with the gearstick and controls in your right hand , yet in a tractor the gear stick and controls have always been on your right hand and never felt weird.
Must be worse for you getting out the cab into the middle of the road next to traffic where we get out the cab onto the kerb / pavement / sidewalk ( depending on your country)

Any new info about this new series Valtra?
HYad one on demo for the last week or so. G 135 and loader. Really impressed with it overall. People on here talking down the Chinese built engine which is sweet as a nut and pulls like a train. Build quality seems pretty good as well. Priced very similar to NH and other middle of the road offerings. Just a well put together and thought out machine. Just my thoughts.

In my case it is the principal of investing in Chinese manufacturing that I don’t like rather than the quality of their good.

This. I try to avoid anything made in China (too bad that almost all of the smartphones are made there, miss the Finnish made Nokias). It costs a little more, but giving too much financial power to the good old communists won't do anything good in the long run. Not to mention the use of child labor and otherwise sketchy working conditions funded with our money.
