Are there any of these around yet? Do they have much more capacity than the older walker lexions?

Yes there are a few in the UK this year and yes there is a substantial output gain compared to the older style of walker machine.

With a bigger drum and an extra 'beater' I can see that the output must be significantly more. Its almost a semi rotary now with 3 'drums'.
Yes does seem like that. Dad mentioned to me that he thought it might smash the straw but I don’t think I’m too worried about that even if the drum smashes it a bit the walkers will fluff it up and drop it light. I don’t like it how the rotarys blow it into the ground

Here in southern Ireland last year i know of 5 new 6 walker claas sold end up being sent back. All I know is they were carrying out alot of grain. The new 5 shaker combines seemed to go very well. I don't know anymore and I own a lexion so I'm not trying to have a swipe at them

Well I’d heard the same. I have a 6 Walker old type Lexion now and am happy with the output for the acres I need to cut but my dealer has a brand new cancelled order that doesn’t seem a bad deal partly due to my combine being worth so much second hand
