Unlike most drill makes, Weaving put prices on their website
http://www.weavingmachinery.net/products/drills/trailed-gd-drill/

Some may share what they actually paid for a new 750A, the list price in an mag artical last summer was over 50 grand for a 3m 750A.

My grandad used to compain comment about the cost of combines, which did nothing for 11 months of the year. It's the other month though where it does or doesn't earn its keep.

About 11k per m for an ISO drill

Anyone else that is interested I know of a very tidy 4m non-iso 750a coming up for sale after spring drilling. JD put prices up 12% across the board last week

loads of units in the US on the market. Cut pt the frame to 3x 3m = 9m
or is your winter not long enough for little building project?
Also, think about what the value of the old pound did the last 12 month.
we live in interesting times

Omg the horror......still recovering from that whole hour I spent changing them in the first week of July when there was nothing else to do

I suppose with the money you save buying a weaving, you can go on holiday with the family, instead of fitting gutlers for the week (y)

Where did you go? Was the weather nice? Perhaps if the good lord blesses us with a family some day I'll trade down and take them somewhere nice on the strength of it

A 6m JD 750A with iso and guttlers was quoted to a contracting friend last week for spring delivery at £85,000. The price of the weaving also 6m but with a bigger hopper and also a micro fertiliser applicator was just over £60,000 according to the same guy.
