Newbie buying land Aberdeen Scotland. Do we need to register SGRIP

Hi all
We are newbies to having land and after any advice or direction!
We have ca. 17acres and missives ask about ICAS maps and SGRPID.
We plan on having a self sustaining small holding type property with some animals in the future but am unsure if we need to register anywhere now.

Only need to register your land with SGRPID if you want to be claiming subsidies.

You do need your CPH number for buying in stock. If you don't have one, this can be got from RPID.
