I have a problem with a new Holland 7840 duel power type manual lift, I’ve no lift arms working, the pump is fine and spools an steering work fine. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I had a 7840 sle special with manual linkage that stopped working and it turned out to be a pin that went through the rod just as it goes through through the lift cover, unfortunately I discovered this when I had removed the lift cover

First as stated if you have external lever on right of seat near the base check if that's been turned, may not be fitted only early models had them, second if hyd lift has been working ok it may be the trailer brake valve seized open this will dump pressure oil, spool valves are fed by combination of main and engine hyd pump's so they can still work even if main pump is knackered flow will be slow, steering is driven from main pump so that can still be ok,check hyd lever linkage.

Don’t they have two pumps on. So the steering would be fine even if the pump for the arms is fudged. I maybe wrong tho
I could only find a pump at the engine that’s piped to the spools then the main pump at back end but it seems to be piped up to the steering as well as the lift arms
