Newholland boost issue

Hi , I’ve got a newholland T7030 2007 model …
running triple mowers the last few days and once the tractor gets warm the boost will knock off and cut in just as it pleases causing the tractor to start overheating as it’s working too hard without the boost …..boost will then eventually refuse to come on even if the tractors completely cool ? Any ideas appreciated, tractor has new turbo fitted and air , oil , diesal filters all new , thanks

Now Then..
Has it only started doing this since the new turbocharger??
Why did you replace the turbocharger ??
Is the turbocharger a genuine NH part??
How many hours has it done??
Have you checked for any restrictions in the fuel tank, is there a filter in there??

it was doing the same thing before we replaced the turbo and we’ve changed it as we suspected it was the cause , genuine newholland turbo , definitely improved it but didn’t cure it .
8,000 hours on the tractor and all diesal Lines are checked and clean

When on boost the engine is burning more fuel and working harder. when boost unavailable then less fuel is available, less heat generated and should be less able to overheat.

Therefore: if over heating then this suggests maybe something not running right, could there be something wrong with the cooling system causeing it to run hot? Don't really know these but they maybe have a safety system preventing boost if coolant too hot, because boost would only make it worse?

Timing issues, leaky injectors and the like can cause overheating due to not burning efficiently.

More likely flywheel damper is worn giving a iratic signal to Power boost sensor. Have you had it calibrated? With calibration plug you could run it in dyno mode and see if its still gets hot will run at full power for 10mins
