Newholland T6 low oil pressure

T6090 has a warning light flashing for low engine oil pressure, tried a pressure gauge and its reading 12 psi ticking over and 30 at full throttle, when cold amd dropping as it gets warmer. sounds like a pump problem. anyone ever do a pump on their T6? big job to drop the sump??

local garage said it should be atleast 20 ticking over and up to 40 at full throttle

Is the oil good and not diluted with diesel for some reason?

changed oil and filters on it but it made no difference.

What hours are on clock?
Have you had it from new?

FPT workshop manual for the 6.7 says pressure should be between 0.5 and 3.5 bar when warm. That’s roughly 10 to 50 psi.

In that case swap the sensor with nearly any other NH in the yard and see what happens.

7 psi is really really low , even at idle!!!!
