Any ideas of this problem. My t6050 16x16 . Seems to not quite go into gear shuttling from reverse gear 9 to forward gear 10. It's moving feels like it's slipping but then all of a sudden goes in with a wollop. It only does this in these gears .10 rev to 10 forward are fine. Iv calibrated it and the values are fine. Iv done a stall test in gear ten and it stalls the tractor. Oh and it only does it randomly. Any ideas?

Try changing a solenoid on the side of the gearbox, there should be 4 in a row with green plugs on the bottom. Could be a clutch pack on the way out. Just done clutch packs on mine after it was getting slow to engage 1 gear then lost 2 gears altogether
By this do you mean change the solenoids around? It seems to engage the shuttle but struggle to go up gear when changeing from reverse 9 to forward 10.as if it's between 2 gears There is a slight squak changeing up through 9, 10, 11,12 but it's smooth. Is it a big job to change the packs? Thanks for the help.

You can try swapping the selanoids see if that helps, it should be labelled on the what they do but all 4 are the same but if it celebrates ok it might not be this.
It sounds like it might be your forward reverse clutch pack either c3 or c4, if so its a cab off and gearbox out job im afraid. Ive just replaced c1 and c2 packs but they were accessible from the front so only had to slit the tractor behind the engine.
Maybd get s dealer to plug some guages in and narrow it down

c3 & c4 are cab off, g'box out and back end off as some clown designed it with those backs at the back !

My TS used to do it, only when warm/hot and only when doing a lot of shuttle work. Sometimes went days with no issue, other times every time you shuttled. Eventually the gear dog used to show 5th gear, but would select 13th and throw a hissy fit.

My t6 is only doing it when warm too, It had been doing it last October when pulling up stubble then today whilst pulling up over winter ploughing with the same cultivator. It had been running fine until thisaftenoon.

It won't be the switches as they only signal high or low range (which ever position gear lever in).

Is the issue only there when you change direction without using clutch pedal?

Try using clutch pedal, allowing tractor to come to a stop, then move shuttle and slowly release clutch. How does it set off then?

It moves fine if I use the clutch. And it only does it with going from 9 rev to 10 fwd. When shuttling. Say if I go from 9 to 11 or 12 it's fine.

what was the problem here and how did you sort it in the end? Our T6040 is doing the exact same now. Once it’s warmed up and shuttling forward and reverse the gears show 5th but it’s actually in 13th. But if a strainy start but once she gets going she corrects herself then. Quite annoying

Its the gearshift position switches, on side of transmission right hand side

I've changed the position switches from another 6050 and it still does it, changed both computers and the gear screen. I've noticed with only key on and shuttle leaver in forward or reverse, in B and C range if you push the up button slowly it goes up the gears but if you do it quickly it goes 9 10 then stops, like it's confused, but it in neutral then forward go slow it works fine, quickly goes up one gear only, another ideas
