News: Countryside crime rise linked to cost-of-living crisis

The drop in overall recorded rural crime during the past couple of years (mainly due to the pandemic) is over, and is rising once again (though for some it never really went away, as we all know); which is made worse by the current cost of living. Primary concerns reported as:

Fuel theft
Livestock rustling
Vehicle theft

First gypsy I get near my sheds or on my yard I'll sort him. We had a bad run of theft here in 08. Don't tell me it's the cost of living!! Ba*tards been at it for years!! 😡
