Clearly none of those.

The sooner people wake up to the fact that we are controlled by self-perpetuating ‘elites’ who act, rule, breed and think like a compact oligarchy, and co-opt the middle class to use it as a filter between themselves and their cannon fodder (i.e the commoners), the better.

In fact the electorate wields no clout whatever, and political ability is but another expression for the powers of persuasion needed to ‘build consensus’ around (momentous) decisions already taken elsewhere. So-called ‘democracy’ is a sham.

PS Why isn't this in the politics section?

Quite.
And we can change things in the UK but we can't in Brussels.

The only decent thing about Corbyn is his pro Brexit stance. Sounds like Tom Watson will put paid to that. " We've always been European ". Hmmmm......not in 1940 we weren't.:clown:
Anyhoo....back to Corbyn anyone who owns farmland/ large house / large garden will be worried sh!teless by their policies of envy. Only just got round to unblocking windows from the last window tax:rolleyes:
Anyhoo.....Boris. Is he really PM material ? Not sure quips about whiff whaff are going to cut it on the world's stage.

I agreed with what Tom Watson said about us all being European.
That is completely irrelevant as to whether we should be a member of the EU.

Looks or is?

I can't believe the amount of farmers behind Stewart. Imo back boris or get Corbyn.

It matters not who is the next PM in that regard. The Conservatives have damaged their reputation so much in the last couple of years, that they haven’t a hope of clinging onto power after the next general election, that’s why they are so keen to avoid one at all costs and why Jezza is so keen to push for one. Let’s face it, they’re barely clinging on now.

Red Jez will get in next time, probably in coalition with that Krankie lass and the Lib Dems, if that is what it takes to keep the Conservatives from number 10.

I can’t believe the number of votes that Boris is getting, the track record of devastation he has left in every job he has done plus the fact that the man cannot even dress himself really makes me despair of this country.
The bumbling and the dress and hair is a smoke screen. He's a Machiavellian and shrewd operator (but lazy). He only does what's good for the Boris Party.

Maybe he didn't do the hustings TV yesterday because he doesn't have to, maybe because he's still writing his A and B speeches just like the guy did before he fell over in favour of Leave suddenly.

If you're in any doubt about the dress code when needs be (although he still didn't pull his socks up) - he's number 8 btw

Ruling elite poster.
Almost, but not quite, persuades me to vote for Jeremy next time around

Is number 2 Cameron? ( no pun intended )
And Rory must have been in a different year

I quite agree with your comments, that is what worries me, the only one that counts to Boris is Boris. It is the total horlicks that he makes of things, then walks away or is fired! Why can’t people see that he is totally self serving.

Of course he won’t. If the electorate are really stupid enough to place a protest vote in a GE, when we are voting for people to actually run the country, all it will do is split the Conservative vote further.

This is why, contrary to popular opinion, referendums are a good thing. They should remove single issues from general elections and stop people from feeling a need to 'protest' vote.
The fact parliament has completely failed to understand this, shows that the stupidity lies in Westminster, not the electorate.
