Oh dear, poor old Tories. they are moving to the right. Johnson and Raab top the poll. Gove might just work with the middle ground. Just shows me how right wing the Conservative Party is - as this is the Conservative Home website poll. Philip Collins comment article in The Times Friday was poignant. The Nasty Party returns - did it ever leave? Of course these top two runners have initially to be selected by the Parliamentary Party - that could be interesting. Hey ho.

Varies TBH. BoJo is usually near the top though.

The Times has turned into a Liberal rag .. got more in common with George Soros and maybe Tony Blair than the average Brit.

Workhouses for all, ban contraception, ban abortion, ban any marriage unless its a good honest Catholic one, hand primary education to the Catholic Church (that should get a rush of applicants to the "calling" ) bring back child labour - just pulling your legs i shall doff me cap and sod off.

Such a range of candidates...

Rabb always looks like he lost his phone?
Gove nothing i can add
JRM nanny wouldn't like him to have a proper job
Bojo as soon as he is PM he will be working out how he can become President of the USA

Actually on a more serious note i think Boris could do some serious damage to the UK and the Conservative Party if he got the job, he demonstrates little acumen in anything bar furthering his own agenda and once he is PM he has no agenda....

I wanted boris as pm when cameron quit but i think he has missed the boat now. Rory stewart seems a decent chap but i dont think hes quite pm material. Gove is great at the despatch box but i cant forgive him for stabbing boris in the back. I think they will probably go for someone 'safe' like jeremy hunt unfortunatly.
