NFU Brexit

Of course it should be avoided but not at all cost, we're making a big enough pigs ear of it already without telling the other side we won't walk away so you can do what you want.

NFU tell government hard Brexit should be avoided at all cost
@Guy Smith you don't speak for me
How do I withdraw my membership

Do you have any idea what effect a hard Brexit will have on our beef and lamb exports? it will cripple thousands of livestock farmers, the prices will collapse. Our French and Italian meat customers have already started sourcing lamb from Spain.

The loss of migrant workers will cripple the NHS, you wont get young British people to clean sick and blood off the wards for £9 an hour.

Nor do I want to be paying double for my imported tractor and wagon parts due to customs.

With respect some farmers need to get past their mile long farm drives, open the gates and see the real world.

Absolute rubbish.

Cripple livestock farmers- errr millions of them worldwide who manage without magic EU membership?

Migrant workers for the NHS- errr, numerous other countries manage migrant workforces, again, without being the member of some mythical club.

Project fear.

Well I didn’t and know farmers that didn’t .
But I accept the narrow majority did . now doing more moaning than us !!
Add that to your constant moaning about forage aid . You want it both ways, support when it suits, ie- stop forage crops into AD , but the free market hard Brexit and dam the consequences.
More Welsh farmers will suffer with their market cut off or tariffs applied , than being short of a bit of grass .
