NH 648 net problems

Hi I was wondering if anyone had had the same trouble before or if the know how to sort it out but every three to six bales the netwrap pulls back out of the feeder shredding the end where it can then take several times of rethreading around the spreader roller and into the feeder to get it to actually feed into chamber and wrap the bale, it will then work for a couple more before repeating itself.

Any help would be much appreciated as the troubleshooting bit of the manual is of no help.

Turning the rubber strip often helps , you get 4 goes at it if you don't wear it out too much on one side! That along with removing/adding springs as required usually helps.
On our old one I put new rubber spacers in the duckbill assembly to get the gap where the net passes through tightened up so that it got held better after it was cut.
The quality of net makes a big difference too, better off in the long run to spend an extra 20 or 30 quid on good quality net and never get off the seat !!!
